HS grads who don’t go on to college are having trouble finding jobs. Many who want full-time jobs have to settle for part-time because that is what is available. The more poor your family background is, the harder it is to get work.
Underemployment for these is around 80%, which is horrible. But it gets worse. While the US imports about a million new unskilled workers every year, poor black teenagers are experiencing unemployment rates of 90% to 95%.
