For the 3rd month in a row, the participation of US citizens in the job force has been stuck at a 38-year low. There are, according to OFFICIAL US NUMBERS, over 94 MILLION US workers not working at all. Which seriously begs the question – what are we going to do with all those Syrian immigrants we’re importing under current refugee laws?
Or, to look at it another way – I’m (almost) 53 years old, and started my first job at 16. This is the worst the US job market has been IN MY ENTIRE PROFESSIONAL LIFE.
Oh, and I’d like to take this moment to wish my father a happy 73rd birthday!
