Worse than I thought . . .

Between my own limited research, and my wife’s, I’ve found that the agenda of President Joe Biden is even worse than I ever imagined.

The amendment to US banking law that I previously posted about is only a part of the “American Families Act”. This act would, if signed into law, authorize 2 free years of college level education for every US citizen through the community colleges. The problem with that is that there are only 2 ways I can see how he would accomplish that goal.

First – a complete take over of the community colleges by the Federal Government.

Second – a massive increase in something similar to the Pell Grant to underwrite the educations of people who otherwise wouldn’t be able to get access to higher education than graduating from high school.

Here is the problem with the plan.

If the “American Families Act” becomes law, no matter which of the vectors I outlined above, there would be a federal mandate of what is “acceptable” as a basic curriculum for any community college. Any community college that accepts any form of government funding would be required by the Biden administration to teach certain liberal courses, including things that amount to revisionist history.

I do not deny that many of the US Founding Fathers were slave owners. But liberals would deny the full truth of the history surrounding those stellar individuals.

Let’s look at Thomas Jefferson. Yes, he was a slave owner. But, the colonies were territories of the British Government, and under Great Britain owning slaves was legal at that time. However, revisionist historians who want to demonize the Founding Fathers would deny that Thomas Jefferson took a slave as his mistress, and not only emancipated her but also several other slaves. One of those slaves became a very successful entrepreneur, and operated a restaurant that introduced Macaroni and Cheese to the United States, after he served as Jefferson’s personal chef for several years in Europe.

Revisionist Liberals would deny this, and cry that Jefferson was entirely evil just because he was a slave owner during a time when owning slaves was not only legal, but necessary to remain competitive in the agricultural farming markets.

Let’s not forget that Thomas Jefferson was the very first signatory of the Declaration of Independence, which began with the words, “We hold these truths to be self evident: That all men are created equal . . . “. The current liberal agenda not only denies this fundamental truth, it denies that people of European decent have any rights to equality with people of any other heritage.

It’s a “divide and conquer” agenda at it’s very most basic. If the liberal leaders can keep US Citizens fighting amongst each other over who has any right to what, we won’t be paying attention while they pass laws that progressively lead to a total collapse of the US as a sovereign nation. The true agenda of the liberal elite seems to be that the United States becomes a vassal of the United Nations, and fully subject to any global government regulations IT would choose to implement.

US Election 2020 . . .

It is nearly 09000 hours (9am) on Friday morning as I post this. The US election was last Tuesday – 3 days ago. Still, we have no definitive results for the election.

The problem I have with this is monumental. My father is the voting precinct foreman for a polling precinct in Kansas. He’s held that post honorably for nearly 30 years. He’s told me that, in this election, his precinct completed their vote tally and reported it to the state capital within 30 minutes of the polls closing. The state reported their results to the national tally within a few hours.

So, my question is – Why is it that, 3 days after the last polls closed, do we still have 6 states that have been unable to report any results for the election?

It stinks to all of the heavens. Someone is either withholding their results, or they are using extremely outdated technology to count and report their local votes.

The states that have not reported should be investigated – at the highest national level. If there is voter fraud, it is likely that it is in those states.

2 must-watch documentaries . . .

My wife and I have recently watched 2 documentaries that, IMHO, everyone needs to see.  They are both currently available on Netflix streaming video.

The first one is “Challenger: The Final Flight” – obviously about the final flight of the Challenger space shuttle, and all of the bureaucratic failures that led to the disaster.

Just as disturbing, and much more currently relevant, is the second documentary.  It is called “/the social dilemma” – and yes, that backslash at the front IS part of the title.  No spoilers, but I guarantee you’ll want to reevaluate your use of social media after watching this.

Saturday Posts . . .

fyi – My wife found this post on Facebook, and forwarded it to me.  There is only one thing I might add to this – that Bernie’s 52% tax is ONLY the federal tax.  There is still the additional state, local, and sales taxes to be factored into the equation.  If Bernie has his way, anyone making less than $100k/yr will not only be taking a pay cut to fund his Universal Health Care initiative, but they will also qualify for welfare.  It is absolutely certain that anyone making minimum wage right now will be taking home less than they are now if Bernie gets his way.

Official Secrets . . .

The United States of America has a serious problem.  It is functionally psychotic.

I’m talking about how a country can claim to adhere to the ideals of truth, honesty, and integrity, while at the same time empowering anyone to keep secrets from the citizens who vote for the people who are empowered to lead the country.

Logically, there is a very fundamental flaw in such a system.

Every time you authorize a secret to be protected, you must by definition authorize someone to protect that secret from discovery.  The people charged with protecting those secrets do not answer to governments, or any agency within a government.  That is the exact anathema to a democratic republic, which is what the United States Of America is supposed to be.

Here is a logic problem on a global scale.  How can you have a government that is elected by the free will of the citizens who are governed by that government, but empowered to keep secretes from those who elect those who make the decisions of that government?

You can’t.

Whomever you empower to protect a secret is automatically empowered with authority superior to that of any elected official.  They become the gatekeepers to the secret. Their authority is superior to those who were elected, and thus  they are superior to the elected government.

I stumbled upon this line of reasoning because my wife and I recently watched a series of shows on Netflix Streaming called “America’s Book of Secrets”.  The whole series was about the secrets that were being kept from the citizens of the United States by the government that was supposed to be protecting them.

As a caveat, I must admit that nothing in that series actually divulged any national secret.  However, that is part and parcel of the problem.

How can any person, in a society that presumes itself to b e run by the consent of the governed, be capable of making a competent decision about anything if they are not given full access to the facts pertaining to the future of that government?  Every protected secret is a breach of the function of that government.

I can’t speak for the other governments of the world, but if the United States of America still values honesty, integrity, and transparency, then the citizens of the USA need to take action to abolish the notion that ANYTHING can be an official secret.
