I’ve been thinking about something. A lot – for a couple of months, actually.
With the first anniversary of my starting this blog approaching, I’ve been thinking that I need to clean it up some. Navigation is one serious hardship to visiting this site. What I’d like to do is make a static home page that has links to every major topic I’ve blogged on (Veterans Issues; Government; Immigration; Health Care; etc.), and then auto-updates when I write a new blog that uses one of those tags. Plus the full text of the most recent blog I’ve posted, no matter the topic. I’d like to keep the basic look I have now, too.
The problem is – I’m not really clear on how to do that. I know a little bit about writing HTML code, but not enough to do what I want. And I’m not sure if any of the themes available through Word Press will do that, either.
If you have any suggestions, please leave them in a comment. I’ll consider anything useful (but don’t promise to use any of them, since I’m still at the consideration stage of the project).
